More commonly used word for that is chore.

I gotta chores to do. Maybe in the afternoon if it's OK with you.
I never heard I gotta routine to do.

Colonel, Liutenant, Sergeant are all army ranks. Colonel in the navy is Captain.
Sergeant in the navy is Petty officer. Liutenant in the navy is Lt. Jg(Lieutenant
Junior grade) oir Lieutenant.

    A few years ago, one of my cousin and her parents(my uncle and aunt) came over here for a visit. She is a high school English teacher. My uncle is retired German language teacher from a college over there. My cousin told me, here English is no good over here and painstakingly became aware of the fact that the teaching method of Enhlish iver in Korea needs big changes. As an example she was asking for a direction to a Greyhound bus terminal. Instead of the word terminal she was using station. (thinking in Korean terms). The problem is we don't say Greyhound Station. We say Greyhound terminal or Greyhound depot. My uncle's German was more useful because there are many German origin Canadians living here. German is second biggest ethnic group next to British. If you run into trouble with spoken English, then write it down on a piece of paper. It may make things easier.
